Our house search was a family quest full of needs and desires. Our family longed to wake up in a home with adequate bedrooms, baths, cabinetry, and of course that feel. We were accepting of the idea that our satisfaction might be limited to a new build. So we searched off and on for land with an occasional Sunday drive throughout the Hocking Hills. The signature LRM sign was reoccurring throughout many of our favorite areas of the Hills. So we searched up the LRM website and added it to our favorites. And then on a random check of the site we saw a lovely property with a house that could be the one. We contacted Larry and a showing was booked. The greeting we received was warm and welcoming to say the least. The home had pictures of beautiful landscapes framed in each window and charm within the walls that made it hard to leave. The acquisition process was excitable. The house would be new to us and we fulfilled our quest. Larry provided us with continuous status updates, scheduling inspections and an appraisal in a timely manner. He took every opportunity to make us feel entitled at every step along the way. Well the time has gone by quickly since we purchased the property on Raccoon Creek. We sanded down all the wall logs on the main level and sealed them, remodeled one of the bathrooms, changed some kitchen cabinets, and installed new lighting in the kitchen and living room. Outside, we reclaimed the pastures by brush hogging, and planted pine trees, 37 different varieties of daylilies, and stopped counting the daffodil and tulip bulbs at 1500.
